Are you a LOSER?

Of course, you’re NOT!

But sometimes, we get stuck in our own heads and start telling ourselves, “I’m a failure.” “I’m a loser.” “I’m a waste.” These are lies that we tell ourselves, and I believe these lies come from a dark place. Maybe we failed, lost, or made some mistakes, but that is not who we are (our identity) - rather it is what we did in the past.

Sometimes, I burn my paintings that do not sell - so I don’t have to be reminded of the “failures”

As an artist, I struggle with these types of thoughts and doubts every day, but I am reminded of what is said in the Bible: “We are God’s masterpiece. He has created us new in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago.”

Be reminded that the same Creator of the most beautiful sunsets, the Grand Canyon, and the Great Barrier Reef calls YOU His masterpiece, made NEW in Jesus, and has good works planned for YOU to do.

So today, if those lies sneak into your head, replace them with the above TRUTH. I hope that encourages you today.
